Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Seeking Rural Scholarship Applicants

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is committed to supporting organizations working in rural communities. Since 2012, the foundation has supported educational enrichment in rural areas, and is actively seeking applicants from rural communities. Learn About the Young Scholars Program:

The Cooke Young Scholars Program is a selective five-year, pre-college scholarship for high-performing 7th grade students with financial need, designed to support the college aspirations of young people.


The scholarship provides comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial support for school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities. Applications open January 11 and close March 22.
